Shadow switch on a white background

Hello people of the internet! I was recently approached by a brand called Dee & Co to review this little contraption called a *Shadow Switch. I was immediately intrigued by the idea of a dry brush cleaner. No matter how interested I was there was definitely some doubt. How is it going to work? Will it even work? Is it once use only? Let me answer all of those questions for you.

For starters, what is the *Shadow Switch for? It pretty much does what it days on the tin. It helps you switch between shadows quickly and easily without needing to wash your brush. If you're like me, when you're doing your makeup you have a tendency to wipe off excess shadow on a towel (or a dirty shirt.. shhhh! No judging!). And you still end up with excess shadow. Sometimes you even have to switch brushes altogether if you've used a really glittery or dark shadow.

All you need to do with the *Shadow Switch is rub your brush in clockwise circles until clean! This usually takes like 5 seconds. Like I said, I was so sceptical of this. But, once I saw how well it worked I kept showing everyone. My mom, snapchat and even my boyfriend. He was less than impressed but I think that's because he doesn't understand the struggle.

You can maintain your *Shadow Switch by washing it with warm water and fragrance-free soap. After about two months of use, you should probably replace the sponge!

The *Shadow Switch will be available in Sephora soon and it's already available on Amazon for £5.99 (roughly €6.70).

  1. Oh, I need one of these. I too am guilty of just wiping them on towels or jammies.
