Urban Decay Naked Petite Heat Palette First Impressions

Hello people of the internet! When the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette came out last year the world pretty much fell in love. So, when Urban Decay launched the *Petite Heat palette everyone lost it all over again. Six eyeshadows shades that are perfect any look and occasion. All wrapped up in a little, on-the-go palette.

There are six matte shades. From left to right: Inhale (a cream demi-matte finish), Vibrate (a soft nude matte), Hot Spell (a terra-cotta matte), Wild Thing ( a scorched-orange matte), Heist (a rich cayenne matte), and Strike (a rich reddish-brown matte).

Based off of my first dry swatches (no primer or base), I was actually a bit worried about how pigmented these were going to be. Which is super unlike Urban Decay. But, when I went in with a brush and started using them on my eyes I was so impressed.

Each shade was so buildable, blendable, and buttery smooth. A little goes a long way too.

This is the kind of palette you can pop in your purse or take travelling with you and you know you won't need anything else. You can create any kind of everyday makeup look. As well as warm, smokey or dramatic evening looks.

This is a look I just whipped up quickly with just the Naked Petite Heat palette. I spent all of 30 minutes on it too. I think my favourite shades are Wild Thing and Heist. They're the perfect orange shades.

Overall, I would say this palette is a 10/10! All six shades are completely usable for everyday use. I find each eyeshadow to be super smooth and blendable. There's a ton of looks you can create with this palette. And, it's perfect for travelling!

The *Urban Decay Naked Petite Heat Palette is now available in Debenhams for €32.00

  2. I've been deciding whether or not I wanted to invest in this palette. I don't own the original heat palette, but at the same time, I felt like a lot of my palettes had enough orange-ish shades, and didn't know if it was going to be worth purchasing. I loved reading about your opinion though! It's something that I'm going to keep in mind while I decide whether I buy it or not. Great post xx
