My Current Skincare Favorites || 2018

Hello people of the internet! Today's topic is one of my favourite things. It helps relax me at the end of a long day, and get me ready for the next one. But, it's a very personal thing. What works for one person might not work for the next. Personally, my skin is quite oily and I have pretty open pores. Both of those things have a tendency to lead to spots. Luckily, my skincare favourites have been helping me combat all of those issues!

My Current Skincare Favorites || 2018

*Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream - For makeup free day's this is pretty much my go-to moisturiser. It's thick and creamy but it doesn't make me break out. It has SPF in it as well! And, that's never a bad thing. I will say this is only for none makeup days for me because I find it pills up underneath makeup. Other than that it's fantastic!

100% Tea Tree Oil - Now, you'll rarely find me putting an oil on my face. I even gave up oil-based makeup removers and cleansers a while back. This is hands down one of the best ways for treating my spots though. Tea tree oil has antiseptic and anti-bacterial properties that help disinfect pores and dry out white/blackheads!

Loreal Pure Clay Detox Wash - I've been using this face wash for about a year now. I love anything with charcoal in the mix. It tends to be a miracle worker for my skin. I really enjoy this cleanser. It never leaves my skin feeling tight after I wash it and always leaves it fresh and clear.

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% - I consider this my holy grail skin product. Its main objective is to rid your skin of excess sebum and to minimize pores. I can honestly say it works and works really well. Since November 2017 I've used three bottles. Even when I'm being lazy with my skincare, this is the one thing I try to use every single day. I've definitely noticed a huge difference in small lines underneath my eyes as well. And, it really helps keep any extra oil at bay under my makeup during the day.

*Urban Decay Pretty Gritty Skin Polish - Another product that I've been using for nearly a year! And, I've been using the same bottle too. With this product, you pour a little powder onto your hand, add some water to it and then massage it onto your face. It's such a fine none-scratchy powder. And, it smells like marshmallows!

The Ordinary Lactic Acid 5% + HA 2% - This exfoliator is fantastic! I use it every couple of nights. It's been really helpful with improving the appearance of fine lines on my face. Lactic Acid is great for that as well as helping reduce breakouts too.

The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution - I know, you hear the term "peeling solution" and you get a bit freaked out. Well, you should see what this stuff looks like on! It's bright red and looks like you're bathing in the blood of your enemies. Anyways, this stuff is friggn amazing. Anytime I use it my skin feels absolutely incredible right after I wash it off. If you have sensitive skin, unfortunately, this one isn't for you. Otherwise, you need to try this out!

Like I said at the start of the post, skincare is very personal. These just happen to be the products working the best for me at the moment. To be honest, now that I've written a post about them, they'll probably stop working for me hahaha!

I would also like to say you don't need to spend a fortune to have great skincare. The ordinary is one of my favourite brands. They have something for every skin type and they're super affordable.

* = Products were given to me for review purposes but all opinions are my own and I have not been paid to include them in this post.
