Hello people of the internet! Recently I went to the launch of the brand new BPerfect Cosmetics x Stacey Marie Carnival Palette. I remember seeing it all over social media before the launch and honestly, I can't remember the last time I was this excited for a palette. As much as I love a warm smokey eye... I was flippn bored of seeing the same shades coming out in palettes. The Carnival palette gave me hope!

I mean, we needed this gif.

For €45 you're getting 24 eyeshadows and two highlighters. Now, if you've been following me for a while you know that I absolutely love Urban Decay. All t, no shade... The value for money is incredible. The only time you get palettes this size from brands like Urban Decay is around Christmas I believe. Otherwise, you're normally paying €45 for 12 eyeshadows. Neutral eyeshadows. Eyeshadows you probably already have a variation of.

We have 17 matte shades and 7 shimmers. Not including the two highlighters. One of the things that made me most excited for this palette was the vibrant matte shades. It's all well and good to have colourful glitter eyeshadows. But to build a look from the ground up you need these shades. I think I audibly gasped when I used this palette for the first time. The colours are so pigmented.

Personally, I use them on a base of concealer that isn't set. Not only are these shadows pigmented they blend like an absolute dream. I've tried multiple looks with it now. Bold and bright, and day-to-day neutral looks. You can really do it all.

I was kind of worried that the glitter shades would be a little chunky. But they're as smooth as butter! Queeny is such an incredible shade too.

Some of my favorites are - Keen, Lit, Basic, Guilty, Shuffle, and Pink Me. I feel like Pink Me and Moony are two hidden gems as well. Pink me looks white in the palette but gives a pink shift. And, Moony looks white/green and gives a golden shift!

To say everyone needs this palette would be an understatement. I think those bright colours are a lot more useful than some people might think as well. The other day I did a completely neutral look and added shuffle and keen in the crease. And, it just added so much to the look. The highlighters are perfect for a subtle everyday glow or you can build them up to really shine!

I couldn't recommend it more to you guys. Actually, my birthday is on Saturday and before I started using this palette I asked for a few random palettes. Eventually, I told everyone to not bother because I feel like the carnival palette is my one true love now.
