Fresh Spring Makeup Look

Thursday, March 03, 2016

Hello people of the internet! Yesterday, I did a fun little makeup look on Snapchat. I was trying out a simple makeup look for Spring. I wanted to go for a fresh, dewy, clean look. A total 180° to what I normally wear. This look is so simple to do and it looks like you actually made an effort (even if you only just woke up)!

Fresh Spring Skin

Skin

Firstly, I used the *Wet n Wild primer. To correct my skin I used a mixture of the *YSL Touche Éclat Neutraliser in Abricot Bisque (to cover my dark circles) and the Catrice Prime And Fine Anti-Red Base (to cover any red areas).  Then I mixed a bit of the Rimmel lasting foundation and the Garnier moisture match cream. I applied the mixture with my trusty beauty blender before dabbing a bit of the pink concealer from the *Wet n Wild coverall palette under my eyes. I actually didn't bother setting my foundation. I wanted to keep that dewy look. To contour, I used the *Wet N Wild Mega Glo Illuminating powder. To give it a more blended look I used the *Urban Decay Gwen Stefani blush palette and I used the shade Lo-Fi. For blush, I used the same palette and used a mixture of the shades Cherry and Easy. And, as always I used my Makeup Revolution Baked Highlighter in Golden Lights!

Eyes, Brows, & Lips

This eye look couldn't be more basic! I used the Makeup Revolution Flawless palette. In total, I used four eyeshadows from it. So, you could really just find matching ones in your collection. For this look, I used the 3 shadows on the far left and then the top light pink color in the second column. You want to take the second lightest brown and that in your crease. Then take the darker brown and make a V shape on the outer corner of your eye. Blend it all together with the lightest shade. Lastly, put the pink shade on the center of your lid. I lined my upper waterline with the *Urban Decay 24/7 Waterline Pencil in the shade Push. It's a lovely navy blue and it's not as harsh as black would be. You could even use a brown eyeliner for this part. For my brows, I used the *Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Brow Box. I went for a more natural look and only used the lightest shade. For mascara, I used the Benefit They're Real Tint Primer to give my lashes a more natural look. To complete the whole look I used one of the new *Lancôme Juicy Shakers in the shade Meli Melon!
