3 Tips For Getting Organized #AD

Hello people of the internet! I don't know about you guys but August makes me feel like getting organized. Whenever I start seeing "back to school" things in a store it gives me the urge to get my life together. That's probably because I'm addicted to stationery. And, stationery equals getting my life together. Hahaha! My love of stationery aside, I wanted to share some of my top tips for getting organized!

Decluttering - Every once in a while I get the decluttering buzz. I find if my room is cluttered so is my brain. It's so nice to give your space a deep clean. I like to go through all of my clothes, makeup, and various items that are taking up space. Especially all of the stuff on my desk!

Apps - I don't know if anyone else does this but... sometimes I find myself just browsing through the app store for cute and helpful apps. Personally, I like using apps that help me track my habits and help me make lists when I don't have my bullet journal to hand. I also love apps that help you save time. That's where the Shopless app comes in! With Shopless you can make your list, have your personal shopper pick up all your bits from various shops, and have it dropped directly to you when you need it! Need an outfit from Primark and all of your ingredients for dinner but you're up the walls at work or just busy at home? Then Shopless is perfect for you! Your favourite shops, same day delivery, straight to your door!

System - Finding a system that works for you is essential. As most of you probably know I like to use my bullet journal! I can keep all of my meetings, to-do lists, trackers in one place. I love making giant to-do lists (or goal lists) that include absolutely everything. Like down to the smallest task. I think being able to tick those small tasks off your list can make you feel extremely motivated and it helps create a snowball effect. You feel great because you're ticking things off the list and it makes you want to do more!

I think getting organized is a very personal thing. And, I think a lot of people get overwhelmed by advice. At the end of the day, it's all about what works for you. After all, you're organizing your own life and no one else's! Hopefully, some of my tips can help you at least find a place to start!
