Blue neon sign reading Generator hostels

Hello people of the internet! I know I've been talking all things travel lately. My boyfriend and I spent the weekend in Dublin. We were lucky enough to have the *Generator Hostel in Dublin give us two beds for the weekend in exchange for a review. I was really excited to see the pictures on their website. It looked amazingly modern and new. I'm not going to lie, I went in with really low expectations though. A lot of places can have great pictures on their website and not be too great in person. The Generator might be the exception...

When we walked into the Generator Hostel I'm pretty sure our jaws hit the floor. It was bright, spacious, modern, and the lighting was the stuff bloggers dreamed about. We were greeted by cheery staff and immediately checked into our 6 person dorm. Now, I don't have any pictures of my room. It was amazing though. The bathroom was spotless with a great shower. My only problem was the room getting a wee bit too warm at night. That was literally my ONLY problem with the room.

The majority of our time was spent in the bar. We picked up a few drinks (that were super cheap by the way) and chilled out with the music. There was a Dj playing both nights. Don't worry, even though our room was on the first floor (down the hall from the bar), we had a quiet and peaceful sleep. Each morning we enjoyed breakfast downstairs. If a classic hostel breakfast isn't your thing feel free to check out their cafe. It's reasonably priced and smelled beautiful!

I would gladly spend my own money to stay at the Generator Hostel again. It's without a doubt more like a hotel than a hostel. A huge thanks to them for letting me enjoy a weekend there. It was unforgettable!
