Hello people of the internet! I've been dying to get eyelash extensions for a pretty long time now. So, when I stumbled across the *Royalash Studio on facebook I knew I was going to need to book an appointment. The lovely owner, Andreea, booked me in for not only eyelash extensions but eyebrow threading and tinting as well. I was counting down the days until I could finally head over to their new location!

What my eyebrows and lashes looked like 10 minutes before heading into the studio.

The cozy studio is located at 15 bridge street ( just before you turn onto Maccurtin street). The owner Andreea greeted me straight away and we had a chat about what I was looking to achieve. I could tell straight away that she's someone who enjoys and really knows what she's doing. We discussed the shape and color for my brows. Then the shade and type of lashes I would like. 

I went for a medium brown shade for my brows with a decent arch. And, I went for eye-opening wispy lashes. Which means I decided to go for length over volume. Andreea was a fantastic help with these decisions. She told me what color would look best on my skin and took the time to explain different types of lashes I could have. 

Andreea marked out my brows and started threading them. I'm not going to lie... That hurt so badly. I feel like I have a pretty high pain threshold but jeez. That being said, I would absolutely have it done again. I can't get over how perfect the shape is now. Between the threading and the tint, the definition is second to none.

Directly after my appointment. My brows were still filled in from when they were mapped out for threading and tinting. Honestly, I wish my brows were always this thick.

Now for the lashes, oh my god. I never thought I could have eyelashes like this. When I looked up lash extensions in the past I only really saw extensions used to create volume. 

It took about 45 minutes for each eye. Andreea took her time and created such a natural look on me. I find it pretty hard to relax at appointments like this but I was nearly falling asleep. Which Andreea said is a huge reason she's made the room so cozy and chilled out. It's a long process, so clients need to enjoy it. I certainly did!

One day after my appointment. I cleaned off the marks for shaping and any left over dye. I couldn't be happier with the end results!

I would be lying if I said I didn't spend a good chunk of the day staring at my lashes and brows in the mirror. I don't even feel like I need to wear makeup. Before I left, Andreea showed me all of the aftercare instructions and told me my recommended date for refills. She also let me know that she keeps a little log with all the products and lash types she uses on each client. So you can come in and get the same treatment again and again.

I don't think I can rave about Royalash Studio enough. There's great customer service, a chill atmosphere, affordable services, and just fantastic results.
