Hello people of the internet! One of the most exciting things I got for Christmas has to be the Kat Von D Alchemist Palette. I'll be honest, it isn't something I would have bought myself. It seemed interesting enough but I personally didn't get the hype. But, this palette was full of surprises.
Hello people of the internet! I've been dying to get eyelash extensions for a pretty long time now. So, when I stumbled across the *Royalash Studio on facebook I knew I was going to need to book an appointment. The lovely owner, Andreea, booked me in for not only eyelash extensions but eyebrow threading and tinting as well. I was counting down the days until I could finally head over to their new location!
Hello people of the internet! The eyebrows are the nipple of the face in 2017. Yes, you read that right. For most of, eyebrows are one of the first things you notice when you see someone these days. So, when I got the chance to try out Colorsport's Diva 30 Day Brow Tint and Mascara I was delighted! My natural brows aren't the strongest and I mean my eyelashes could definitely be darker. I did the patch test, found out I wasn't allergic and went to town.
Hello people of the internet! A while back I was sent three of the NYX lip of the day liquid Lip liners. The idea behind them is so interesting to me. I'm a huge fan of lip art on Instagram. And, if there was a product that could help me even slightly achieve some of the cool looks I see there, I'm excited!
Hello people of the internet! I was recently approached by a brand called Dee & Co to review this little contraption called a *Shadow Switch. I was immediately intrigued by the idea of a dry brush cleaner. No matter how interested I was there was definitely some doubt. How is it going to work? Will it even work? Is it once use only? Let me answer all of those questions for you.
Hello people of the internet! I've decided to start a little unofficial series on here called "Mask Mondays". The mask I'll be reviewing this week is one that was kindly sent out to me from The Body Shop. Recently, The Body Shop released five new face masks. I was lucky enough to have the *British Rose Fresh Plumping mask sent to me for this review! This product retails for €25.00 and promises to help hydrate your skin!
Hello people of the internet! Dublin has to be the food capital of Ireland to me. If I know that I'm going I immediately start looking on Instagram for places to eat. In July I stumbled across a very aesthetically pleasing place called WOWBURGER. They're a little burger joint based in The Workman's Club on Wellington Quay (obviously in Dublin). Dan and I were on the bus up to Dublin and I wouldn't shut up about going to WOWBURGER. Here's why...
Hello people of the internet! Over the past month, I've been doing a *28 Day teatox with SkinnyMint! I was lucky enough to have *SkinnyMint send out their all natural, 2 step Teatox program. This includes a Morning boost tea and a night cleanse tea. I've done a teatox before and absolutely hated it. I was a little worried when I started this one. But, I think the *SkinnyMint teatox might be a game changer.
Hello people of the internet! If you didn't know already, Urban Decay has done the collaboration of the century. In November, I was lucky enough to get my hands on the Gwen Stefani eyeshadow palette. This palette has been hailed as one of the best things to come out in the last few years. That was only a small tease for what was coming in January. Last month was the official release of the rest of the collection. That includes: A 6 shade blush palette, a brow box, 6 lipliners, and 8 lipsticks!
Hello people of the internet! If you read yesterday's post, I reviewed some amazing products. I decided to play with them a bit more and create a full look for Valentine's day! Grab your eyeliner and get ready for a dramatic smokey eye. This look is perfect for day or night and is guaranteed to impress!
Hello people of the internet! I'm pretty sure it's no secret that Urban Decay is one of my favorite brands. They were the very first high-end brand I ever had the pleasure of using, they're cruelty-free, and their products never disappoint me! Today I'll be sharing my collection with you. Urban Decay is so much more than just The Naked Palette! So, I won't be sharing any of the palettes I have in this post.
Hello people of the internet! I'll be honest with you... When I heard that there was going to be a collaberation between Gwen Stefani and Urban Decay I nearly lost my mind! Then, when I saw the eyeshadows I wasn't too pushed. Finally, I came back around and fell in love with it. Imagine my surprise when I came back from Limerick to find this on my bed. I haven't had time to play around with it just yet. But, I decided to do a first impressions post!
Hello people of the internet! It's been a while.. I know.. I'm so sorry. I've been working at the Cork Film Festival and things tend to get a bit hectic. The day before I started the most amazing package came in the mail. I was lucky enough to be gifted the *Urban Decay Vice 4 palette. Now, with great power comes great responsibility. I was sent this (amazing) palette to show each and every one of you. Honestly, I was going to buy this for myself as a treat when the festival was over. You can only imagine my shock and excitement when the postman came. (I may have teared up a little..)
Hello people of the internet! Last night I came up with an idea to do more reviews. If you've been keeping up with Blogtober you'd know that I was lucky enough to attend three events at the start of the month. That's three goodie bags of products to share with you guys. Which, if you didn't know is the purpose of goodie bags. So I decided to do some more reviews this month! Today, I'm starting with the SoSu nail polish in Cast A Spell!
Hello people of the internet! Today,I want to talk to you about Kayley Mills. She's an illustrator based in England. I've been following her on instagram for AGES now. Kayley is without a doubt one of my favorite artists! I was lucky enough to collab with her for this post. She sent me this amazing print (It's hanging on my wall now)!
Hello people of the internet! Today's post is quite near and dear to my heart. It's all about *MyLadyBug. Ireland's firstperiod subscription box. Now, we all (well the majority of us) have to deal with our period. It's a pain in the ass. I've had mine for the last ten years of my life and I still can't remember to pick up pads. *MyLadyBug is determined to make your period one less headache next month.
Hello people of the internet! I know I've been talking all things travel lately. My boyfriend and I spent the weekend in Dublin. We were lucky enough to have the *Generator Hostel in Dublin give us two beds for the weekend in exchange for a review. I was really excited to see the pictures on their website. It looked amazingly modern and new. I'm not going to lie, I went in with really low expectations though. A lot of places can have great pictures on their website and not be too great in person. The Generator might be the exception...
Hello people of the internet! Recently I was asked to try out this *Australian Bodycare Blemish Stick. It's meant to be the perfect little helper for combating breakouts at the last minute. I decided to give it a test run over the past two weeks!
Hello (gorgeous) people of the internet! See that little yellow tube up there? It's going to be your best friend this Summer! *Dr.PAWPAW isn't just a lip balm. It's a multipurpose miracle worker! It couldn't have been better timing for it to come in the mail either. The week before it arrived my lips were dry and cracked. I started using this immediately and noticed a difference within a day.
Hello people of the internet! Today is the second installment of Pure Cork! If you don't know what that is, let me explain! Basically, it's a little review or profile of a Cork city business. If I go some where and I love it, I'll share it. Or, if a business contacts me (and I like them enough and think you will too) I'll do a little piece on them! Today's post is a business I just couldn't love more. Deep South. Located at the end of Grand parade is possibly one of the best beer gardens you could ever come across in the Rebel county. With lights strung atop the fences and in trees and the smell of a barbecue lingering in the air, you don't feel like you're in a bar. You get this atmosphere that you're at a party.
