Hello people of the internet! A while back the lovely people over at Beauty Belle sent me two products to try out. One of them was this super luxe sheet mask! I love a good sheet mask and this one definitely got into my hands just in time. My face has recently been dry as a bone. I'm going to put that down to the cold weather we've been having though. So, let's talk about the Timeless Truth Luxurious Gold Moisturising Black Charcoal Mask!

A little about the mask

It contains activated black charcoal and gold leaf. And, is formulated with organic algae extract and vitamin E. Activated black charcoal is great for drawing out impurities deep in the pores to get rid of all the yucky stuff that clogs our pores while promoting circulation and cell-turnover. Gold helps repair broken cellular connections by releasing negative ions. This helps to strengthen the skin's absorbing strength. 

The algae extract and vitamin E help enhance the skin's metabolism and provides a lot of moisturising properties to help regenerate healthy cells. 

My Skin Before

This is such an up close and personal view of my skin haha! The day I used this mask my skin was very broken out and dry. If you've been following me for a while you'll know that I usually have pretty oily skin. So, I find it very hard to get moisture in without ending up with a breakout. That's why I enjoy sheet masks. They're usually gel based which is great for oily skin!

Ah yes, this is the glam content you all come here for. You can probably see all the little gold flecks on the mask itself. There was a lot of excess product dripping off. I don't usually find that to be an issue though. I just massage that into my next and chest. The mask was very comfortable to wear. It didn't slip and slid around my face at all. Which is fantastic because it needs to be on for 20-25 mins. I popped on some Shane Dawnson and let the mask do its work.

My Skin After

Afterwards, my skin felt so much more hydrated! And, it definitely felt less irritated from being dry. Overall I enjoyed it! With masks like these, you definitely need to do them once a week for a while to really start noticing a difference. There are very few face masks that you'll notice a huge difference immediately. But, that doesn't mean they aren't great. I really loved this mask! I think it really helped my skin out during its time of need!
