        Four Favorites: Lush Skincare

Hello people of the internet! Like most beauty bloggers; I am obsessed with Lush! Their delicious smelling, cruelty free, and vegan products are just perfect. Today, I'll be talking about the products I use on my face and why they just can't be beat!

First, I would like to say that I have quite oily skin. Mainly alone my jaw/chin area. What works for me may not work for you. Call into your local Lush store and ask them what will suit you! Trust me, they're more than happy to help!

Coalface: I heard about this soap when I was googling how to fix my oily skin. It has charcoal in it to help absorb oils, rosewood for an antiseptic, and licorice root to soften your skin. Even though it absorbs oils I never feel like my face is dried out. I also find that the charcoal bits are a great exfoliating the skin.
Cosmetic Lad: When I went into Lush in November this product was recommended to me by a lovely staff member (As well as the next two products). This is mainly directed towards men with razor burn. It has aloe vera and lavender water to help soothe the skin. Despite having an oily chin/jaw are I have a very dry t-zone. I use this after I was my face. In my t-zone and right under my eyes.
Grease Lightning: I love this stuff! It's like a gel and you just pop a bit onto a spot or a soon to be spot and you're done! With witch hazel, tea tree, rosemary, and thyme; it literally has everything needed to cure a possible break out! I use it after I've popped a spot as well. It helps reduce redness and it just makes sure I don't have to go in for round two!
Ultrabland: This is my all time favorite Lush product. I really wish more people knew and talk about it too. I was a bit skeptical at first because it is so oily. When I got a demo of the product in Lush I was told how the oil will help pull the excess oil from my face with out drying it out. I went home and used it for the first time that night and immediately noticed a difference. My skin felt so soft! One of the best things about it is that you can take off your makeup with it! The beeswax effectively and gently takes off any and all makeup including mascara! This is with out a doubt the most underrated Lush product of them all!

  3. I've never heard of Grease Lightning before this post, must check it out! I remember I was so tempted to get the Clinique anti blemish one but the price was too much, this seems more affordable!
