*Urban Decay Vice 4 Palette Review
Wednesday, November 18, 2015Hello people of the internet! It's been a while.. I know.. I'm so sorry. I've been working at the Cork Film Festival and things tend to get a bit hectic. The day before I started the most amazing package came in the mail. I was lucky enough to be gifted the *Urban Decay Vice 4 palette. Now, with great power comes great responsibility. I was sent this (amazing) palette to show each and every one of you. Honestly, I was going to buy this for myself as a treat when the festival was over. You can only imagine my shock and excitement when the postman came. (I may have teared up a little..)
The Urban Decay Vice 4 palette is inspired by the ever popular eyeshadow Oil Slick. Urban Decay decided to take inspiration from a real life oil slick which you can even see on the beautiful case. Their goal was to channel the beautiful colors and dimensions that can be seen in an oil slick. Before even knowing that you can tell from the shades.
Some of my favorite shades here are Bitter (a reddish brown matte), Pandemonium (a metallic plum with iridescent micro glitter), Flame ( a bright orange with gold micro glitter), Discreet ( a softy dusty mauve matte), and Grasshopper (a metallic emerald with green micro glitter).
This palette is amazing for day or night. There are so many fantastic matte shades to give you a natural eye and a ton of glitter shades to make you light up any party. The pay off on every single one of these colors is beautiful. And, there is little to no fall out with the glitter shadows.
I think the Vice 4 palette is actually amazingly priced as well. It's only €49.00 for 20 eyeshadows. Palettes such as the Naked Smokey and the Naked 3 will cost you about €46.00 for 12 eyeshadows. Plus, with the Vice 4 you get a fantastic mixture of mattes, glitters, a wide selection of colors, an amazing double ended eyeshadow brush, and a snazzy carrying case. Definitely worth the an extra €3!
Would you ever buy the Urban Decay Vice 4 Palette?

The palette contains such pretty colors. I admit I tend to remain ever loyal to Nars beauty products but would definitely buy the Urban decay palette because of the beautiful metallic colors.
