Lidl's Cien Pure Cleansing Mask Review

Hello people of the internet! Well, last week I said I was starting a series called Mask Mondays. This week I picked up a face mask in a place I never normally would... Lidl! Lidl has recently launched some beauty products. And, since it's Lidl the price tag really can't be beat. It was only €0.50 for two masks.

Like I said last week, I have oily skin. So, I'm always kind of worried that a new mask will break me out. That's why I picked the mask with white clay. This mask states it's for deep cleansing for normal and combination skin.

When I opened the pack it had a very recognisable smell. Oddly enough it smelled like shaving cream. Not in a bad way though. It applied very easily. It was thick but not too creamy (a.k.a. what makes my face break out). You're supposed to leave it on for 10-15 minutes. I decided to leave it on for the full 15. It was lovely and cooling. Even though it has white clay in it the mask itself wasn't overly drying.

After the 15 minutes were up, I went to check on the state of the mask. My face had definitely absorbed a good bit of it. I used a cloth and lukewarm water to remove the mask. My skin felt insanely smooth and looked nourished. It was a much-needed hydration boost and didn't seem to make my skin oily later.

Another thing I liked about the Pure Cleansing Mask is the amount you get for the price. You get two packs but, I only used about half of one pack. So, you actually get four uses for only €0.50! That's probably my favorite thing about this mask. Since my skin can be so picky I don't like spending tons of money just in case it destroys my skin and I can't use it again.

What's your current favorite face mask?
