Hello people of the internet! I love a pumpkin spice lattes as much as the next person but! It's really hard to get that level of perfection at home. The lovely people over at Oat-ly sent me some of their *Oat Drink - Barista Edition to try out. And, I thought I could replace the dairy milk I usually use to make my favorite drink this year! 

Ingredients
Drink Me Chai - Spiced Chai LatteOat-ly Oat Drink - Barista Edition
Optional - Brown Sugar

It's such a simple recipe. All I did was run the kettle and also pop a small mug of the Oat-ly Oat drink in the microwave. Once you have your hot water pour about half a mugs worth into your mug with 3-4 teaspoons of the chai latte mix.

Since I don't own a milk frother, I get my milk nice and foamy in another way. I poured the hot Oat drink into my French press. And then you just pump the filter part until you achieve maximum foaminess! It's that simple. I poured that into the mug with the water and drink mixture. And also spooned some of the foam on top. What I like to do at the end is to just sprinkle some of the Chai Latte mix and some brown sugar on top of the foam.

It's literally the most delicious thing ever! Trying the Oat-ly Oat Drink for this recipe was such a game changer as well. I'm not a fan of dairy milk at all. Never have been. I actually hate the taste of cow's milk. It was so nice to have this without an aftertaste of milk! And the foam held so well. Because obviously, I spent about 20 minutes taking photos for this post and when I finally got to drink it, the drink was still so foamy and creamy!
