Hello people of the internet! One of the most exciting things I got for Christmas has to be the Kat Von D Alchemist Palette. I'll be honest, it isn't something I would have bought myself. It seemed interesting enough but I personally didn't get the hype. But, this palette was full of surprises. 

When you open the palette you see four pans of shadow. At a first glance, all you can really see is the different colours of each shadow. The iridescent glittery glow of each shadow is pretty well hidden until you swatch them. 

Some glittery shadows tend to feel gritty or chunky. Not this one! It's so smooth and buttery. I love how you can use it alone or on top of different products as well. I think they all would look lovely dabbed over a nude lipstick or a basic daytime eye look.
