Bullet Journal Set-up || March 2018
Monday, March 12, 2018Hello people of the internet! I'm so happy it's finally March! Spring is literally right around the corner now. I can't wait for daylight savings too. Which, I understand, is a totally weird thing to be excited about. Anyways, this month's spread is pretty much green-themed. I really wanted to bring some brightness to my journal and celebrate that Spring is coming!
Monthly Spread - As you can probably tell, plants inspired me a lot for this month's spread. I also decided to do something I've never done before - cover the whole damn page. I tried only colouring the leaves but I loved this green shade too much leave the rest blank. The calendar is pretty much the same idea as last month's. Simple and to the point.
Trackers - So, I had to finally admit to myself that I never use my damn sleep or mood tracker. I gave them the boot this month. Taking their place is another calendar with all of my important dates on it. On the next page is a tracker for blog posts. One of my goals for 2018 is to hit a grand total of 500 posts by the end of the year. And, I want to hit 400 by my blog's birthday next month. It isn't the prettiest tracker but it'll do the job!
Weekly Spread - I really wanted to go balls to the wall for my weekly spread this week. Like I said before, green is clearly inspiring to me. Pinterest was a huge inspiration for this layout. And, for the first time in a while, I'm actually really using my journal on a daily basis. Which was really becoming an issue for me.
Extras - In case any of you were wondering, this is how I schedule my tweets. I had a similar layout in my last bullet journal and needed to copy it into my current one. Another thing I wanted to have this month is a favorites page. Hopefully it makes it a little easier for me to write my monthly favorites post! Oh if you like those songs I made a banger of a playlist on Spotify (Listen to it here & on shuffle)
I'm so happy with how everything looks for this month's set-up. I'm really working on making it more functional for my own brain's sake. Setting up my journal didn't feel like a chore this month. It was actually fun. Which at the end of the day is the reason I like bullet journaling.
Have you ever tried bullet journaling?
