Bullet Journal Set-Up || October 2018
Friday, October 05, 2018Hello people of the internet! Happy Friday! We're nearly one week into Blogtober and I've been using my bullet journal more than ever. Which means I've put a lot of effort into my set up this month. I wanted to make it something inviting and exciting to use for October. Just to guarantee that I'll use it as much as possible!
Monthly Spread - Okay, so I am beyond proud of how this month's spread. It took me about five hours to draw everything. I personally love line work, dot work, and black work. Unfortunately, they are a pain in the ass to execute. They're just so time-consuming to do. For once it was super worth it though! I'm in love with this spooky and autumnal design. I was inspired by multiple designs on Pinterest for this.
Habit tracker & Post Planner - I've kept the same design for my habit tracker for October. I decided to do a split-calendar this month too. It helps me keep my personal and work life separate and less messy in my journal. I'm also using my post planner again. But, I made enough slots for all 31 posts I'm going to attempt to do during Blogtober!
Weekly Spread - As always, I'm trying to keep my weekly spreads super simple. That way I can focus on the tasks. I love this little coffee doodle I did! I used one of Jemma's stickers (You can buy them on her Etsy here) for the lil skull and just added some dot work to it. Oh, also used her stickers on my monthly spread around my calendar.
This month's spread is one of my favourites. It might even be my favourite spread that I've ever done. Would you guys be interested in seeing weekly updates on my Instagram story? I've been thinking of doing some live streams of me setting my weekly spreads. And, I did a poll and people said they would like to see more of my bullet journal on there. So let me know if that's content you'd like to see me make in the future!
