Hello people of the internet! 2015 is coming sooner than you think. It's time to start thinking of what you want to accomplish in the next year and how you're going to do it! These three easy steps have always worked for me.
- Write down your goals in a visible spot: Basically, write down your goals and then put it on your wall or something! Seeing you goals everyday will make you want to scratch them off the list and keep you motivated!
- Constantly keep track of your progress not your failures: Don't dwell on the negative. Let's say you're trying to eat healthier everyday. Try to focus on all of the healthy things you ate as opposed to the small slip ups. It'll make you feel less like just giving up! Another example would be: if you wanted to write 2 blog posts a week. If you don't have time or you just don't feel like it, don't worry about it. Once again, just focus on the ones you have written/are writing.
- Make a schedule: I'm a huge fan of structure. I plan on setting aside time everyday or every week to work towards certain goals. Instead of feeling like I have to get it all done at once or spacing things far and few between.
I'm never really big on that whole "New Year, New You" B.S. but this year.. I've just kind of decided that this year is going to be awesome. I do believe, that if you believe you can do it, you can. In the next week or so I'll be posting some of my New Year's Resolution and my plans to achieve them. I'm excited for 2015 to start!
