My Valentine's Day Candy Hearts Conversation

Hello people of the internet! On Saturday, I got to spend my fifth Valentine's Day with my amazing boyfriend! We had the best day. It was very.. Us! Sorry for not posting my Sunday Morning post yesterday! I just started my one week off of work and relaxing and being lazy is my man priority at the moment haha. I'll be posting a lot about my Galway travels soon as well as a video :D Keep your eyes peeled!

1. Dan and I woke up about an hour later than we should have. I have an unreal talent for turning off alarms in my sleep lately. I rushed into the shower and when I came back down stairs, Dan had ran down the road and got us our favorite coffee. Perfect way to start the day!

2. We had reservations for lunch at The Cornstore. I can't recommend a place more! The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The portions were massive and the drinks were fantastic. We had such a lovely lunch together. The food was absolutely above any expectations I could have had. (Dan is as bad as me for being on his phone when we're out and about.)

3. Then, we decided to go bowling. This is one of our classic dates. We used to go so much when we first started going out. As you can tell, we aren't very good. We even had the bumpers up! I still crushed Dan in the first game. He may have kicked my butt in the second one... You don't need pictures of that do you? I love the top picture. We recreated one from one of our very first bowling dates. It's safe to say that I'll be adding that to my scrapbook.

4. Before heading home, we decided we wanted to go out-out later. We grabbed some drink in Tesco and walked home. The weather was amazing! Very springy, with a cool breeze and just enough sun that I didn't need to wear my coat. After we got home and relaxed for a bit we started getting our drink on. I found this awesome The Office drinking game (Warning! Contains some spoilers!!) and we played and laughed so much. Dan has only just started watching The Office (US version) and I think this might be the best way to watch it! After a while I made us a pizza and some onion rings. I don't know why but, that might have been the best food I've ever made. In the end, we decided to stay in and watch more of The Office.

To me, this was the absolute perfect Valentine's Day. We did a combination of all the things we like to do and we were together. What more can you ask for?

How did you spend Valentine's Day?

  6. This sounds so cute! I've never had a proper Valentine's Day with my boyfriend. Last year, our first Valentine's Day together, I had a vomiting bug so he came over and minded my son while I had some alone time with the toilet bowl. And this year I had to work and then we had my cousin's 18th to go to. Your day sounds like something we would do though, apart from the added step of looking for a babysitter!
