*SkinnyMint 28 Day Teatox Review

Hello people of the internet! Over the past month, I've been doing a *28 Day teatox with SkinnyMint! I was lucky enough to have *SkinnyMint send out their all natural, 2 step Teatox program. This includes a Morning boost tea and a night cleanse tea. I've done a teatox before and absolutely hated it. I was a little worried when I started this one. But, I think the *SkinnyMint teatox might be a game changer.

Mornings Boost


Taken every morning for 28 days.


Contains: Green tea, Yerba Mate, Nettle Leaves, Dandelion, and Guarana Fruit.


Night Cleanse


Taken every other night for 28 Days.


Contains:  Ginger Root, Orange Leaves, Lemongrass, Senna Leaves, Peppermint, Licorice Root, Hawthorn Berries, and Psyllium Husk.

I definitly went into February with a  healthy mindset. I pretty much cut out dairy, did a squat challenge and a teatox. On February 1st, I put the kettle on and brewed up my first cup of the morning boost tea. To my suprise, it tasted amazing! The flavor is quite fruity and you're allowed to add fruit to it as well.  Honestly, you can have this anytime before 5pm.The *SkinnyMint Morning boost has 62mg of caffiene (A cup of coffee averages about 80mg). So you wouldn't want to have it too late in the day. I prefered to have mine first thing in the morning to help wake me up! 


On the same day you start your *SkinnyMint teatox you start taking the Night cleanse. This is the part that I was scared about. You take the Night cleanse every other night. You leave this tea to brew for 3-5 minutes and you have it about 30 minutes before you head to bed. The sole purpose of this tea to to clear you out (if you get what I mean). When I tried a different brand of teatox last year, this is what destroyed my life for two weeks. Thank god this was not a repeat of that. I never had moments where I was legging it to a bathroom. I never got that churning feeling in my stomach either. It's a very refreshing tea that helps you relax right before bed!


These teas tasted fantastic and made me feel great. I didn't feel slugish or bloated at all this month, aside from being on my period, But, I think we all know a tea is never going to change that.  I spent the whole month thinking it didn't really change my body though. Like, I was more than happy with just feeling more awake during the day. Then, I took my after picture yesterday.

You can actually see the results! I couldn't believe how much of a difference there was. I can now say that I would recommend this teatox to anyone who wants to feel less bloated, more awake, and even wants to lose a little weight. Just remember: I cut out a lot of unhealthy food when I stopped eating dairy this month. I also exercised nearly everyday too.  The *SkinnyMint teatox definity helped. But, just drinking a lot of tea isn't going to make you lose a ton of weight. You have to eat healthy and excerise too.
