Hello people of the internet! Dublin has to be the food capital of Ireland to me. If I know that I'm going I immediately start looking on Instagram for places to eat. In July I stumbled across a very aesthetically pleasing place called WOWBURGER. They're a little burger joint based in The Workman's Club on Wellington Quay (obviously in Dublin). Dan and I were on the bus up to Dublin and I wouldn't shut up about going to WOWBURGER. Here's why...
WOWBURGER is based in upstairs in the smoking area of The Workman's Club. It's outside with plenty of seating. The menu has lots of options (please note that they don't have any veggie burgers!).
Dan and I both agreed that the value for money was amazing! I was so full that I couldn't even finish my burger!
I ordered a cheeseburger (€5.95) with grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, and WOWBURGER sauce and garlic butter fries (€2.95). I'm very picky when it comes to burgers. I can't stand really thick patties and these burgers were thin without being the size of a McDonald's patty. Like I said, I'm oddly picky about this. All of the toppings were free, which is great so you can just have your favorite burger fixings!
Last but not least I want to talk about these garlic butter fries! Why on earth have I never had garlic butter fries? Like, I never want to get garlic, chips, and cheese again(For those outside of Ireland/UK, that's fries covered in garlic mayonnaise and shredded cheese). These were so light and not soaked in grease. My only issue would be they were a little too salty. But, I can get over that.
Overall, I would totally recommend WOWBURGER! The price is pretty damn affordable for being in Dublin City Center, the portion sizes were great, the staff was so nice, and the food tasted amazing!
Would you try WOWBURGER?
