Fit February

Hello people of the internet! So, we all know that January isn't actually a real month when it comes to goals. There is too much pressure to get your whole life together in thirty-one days. My healthy eating didn't go to plan, I was so lazy, and I just found life after Christmas hard. That's where Fit February comes in! 

This is my month for just making healthier habits for myself. At the moment I'm eating like crap, barely exercising, staying up far too late (4-5 a.m.) and sleeping all day. I'm done with it. It's done nothing but make me feel sluggish and less like myself! Fit February is pretty much all of my goals for this month. It's not about losing weight or anything like that. It's just about getting into habits that will make my body better in general. 

Part 1: I am doing a teatox! If you didn't know, I tried one of these last year. It failed miserably. This year I was sent another one from another brand. I'll be tracking all of my progress with it and there will be a review in full at the end of the month. Make sure you follow me on Snapchat (Cardiganjezebel)! That's where I will be sharing my first impressions of the tea itself and bits along the way! 

Part 2: I am finally working out! I'm not going crazy and making some impossibly hard plan that I'll never stick to. There is a 30-day squat challenge I'll be following as well as going for a walk every day. The walks should be good. I desperately need to get out of the house more!

Part 3: Diet changes. Like I said before, my diet is horrible. This month I will be going dairy free. The teatox I'll be using suggests staying away from dairy. Plus, I've always wanted to see if I could really stay away from cheese.. I'm going to up my water intake by a litre for a grand total of 3 litres a day and I'll still be having my three cups of green tea daily! One goal I would love to achieve is no takeway (with the exception of like Valentine's Day). Let's see if Dan can play along with that rule...

Part 4: I want to get 8 hours of sleep every day. No more, no less. I cannot remember the last time my sleep schedule was so messed up. I plan on fixing that in February. 

I know this seems like a lot of changes for one month. And, I'm not expecting it to be easy. Truth be told, I've never been so motivated to get my ass in gear. I'm tired of feeling like a potato.   1. Wow, that's a lot of changes to make in one month. Go girl! This month I've really given myself a push to eat healthily, and do you know what I've found? That just by not snacking between meals makes a hell of a lot of difference. Combined with doing a little bit of exercise and drinking enough works wonders. I used to feel so sluggish in the afternoons but I've got so much more energy now. Best of luck, I can't wait to see how it goes for you!

  3. Woo Hoo you go girly. I'm in the exact same boat as yourself so I have to give myself a serious shake up. Started my healthy eating plan on Wednesday - my god the sugar headaches!!! Fair play on the 3ls of water a day I'm doing 2 and that's all I can manage. Cant wait to follow your progress x
