Budget Date Ideas
Wednesday, February 10, 2016Hello people of the internet! Valentine's Day is right around the corner. I decided to put together a list of some budget friendly date ideas! These would be great to do with you S.O or even with just your friend's. Either way, you can focus on spending time with each other instead of spending a ton of money!
Go On A Picnic - Make some sandwiches and head to a park. If you get to there early enough, you might even get to a chance to use the swings or the playground! Nothing better than a grown-up game of tag!
Netflix & Chill - Find a new series or rewatch an old one. Go to the shop and grab all of your favorite candy, snacks, and popcorn. Bonus points if you make a blanket fort!
Rum Fun - (Obviously only if you're of legal drinking age) Get yourself some rum, or whatever you like to drink. Make up some drinking games and just get drunk together. Trust me, this beats going out any day!
Get Cooking - Try a new recipe! Make dinner together and just try something ridiculous and fancy. Or pretend you're part of the Great British Bake Off! Set each other challenges and be your own judges.
Game Time - Get your controllers out! Find a co-op game and just get going. Or, if video games aren't your thing grab youself some old school board games!
Around Town - Cork has tons of great museums that let you explore them for free! Or you could window shop in a fancy department store.
What's your ideal date?

Haha I love the rum fun idea, it's sometimes so lovely to chill at home with a bottle of wine and just chat and get a bit tipsy!

This is a great post. My OH and I have been together 5 years, and we rarely go on dates anymore (unless you count popping to the local for a quick dinner and drink a date? I kinda don't...) because funds are tight since we bought our own house. These are some great ideas to get us out on dates again, that won't cost us the earth! Thank you :) x www.aimeeraindropwrites.co.uk x
