Hello people of the internet! Today is the day! Not only is it the last day of Blogtober but, it's also mine and Dan's fifth anniversary. Five whole freaking years. That's 1827 days, 261 weeks, or 43848 hours. Basically, it's long time. I couldn't be happier though.
Five years and four days ago I was surfing the web and using this site called Tagged. Basically. it was the Tinder of 2010. You picked yes or no on people's profile pictures. I clicked yes on Dan's picture and he in turn click yes on mine. We started talking that night. We thought we were so cool since we were both on Tumblr. In 2010 Tumblr was like some cool underground club (it really wasn't we all just thought it was).
Five years and one day ago I was texting Dan about possibly meeting up with him after he was done with work. We decided not to because he had to get a bus. We decided to meet up the next day so we could actually hang out.
Five years ago today I made a stupid joke right when I meet you. We held hands walking around town. We barely spoke but it was so nice. Five years ago today I asked you to be my boyfriend and you said yes. We haven't looked back since.
You are my favorite person in the world. I couldn't imagine what my life would be like if you weren't by my side. Thank you for putting up with me on those days when I'm just a miserable bitch. And, you're welcome for putting up with you when you're a dick. I still love you. You're not just my boyfriend, you're my best friend. Thank you for also being my family. And make sure you tell your family that I love them. Mine told me to say how much they love you.
Here's to the next five years, handsome!
I love you!
Sorry about that cheesiness... But, it's my blog and this is my life. Cannot believe this is the last day of Blogtober. I'm so happy that it is but... I'm also a little sad. I loved having to create content everyday. I felt so productive all the time. I only missed two days! Go me! Just so you all know I will be taking the next week off. I need a little blog break. Thank you so much to anyone who stuck by Blogtober and read all of the posts, or left a comment, or even read one post. I love you and I wouldn't have made it through this crazy month without you.
