Hello people of the internet! Happy Christmas Eve! Today is the last day of Blogmas. I originally planned to do a post on Christmas day but, who wants to work on Christmas!? So, I decided to end Blogmas with a baking post. They're probably my favorite posts to do. I made these amazing Oreo cheesecake truffles last year for Christmas Eve! They are so freakin delicious and really simple to make. Plus, you can decorate them and make them look super fancy!
Hello people of the Internet! Sorry for missing yesterday's post! It was such a busy week that ended in a house party so... You know how that goes. Last Monday, I hung out with Laura and we spent the whole day making Christmas cookies. I'm actually eating one while I type this (how I had any left is beyond me). I found a great recipe on Pinterest and modified it slightly. The cookies turned out soft and chewy. A.k.a perfection.
Hello people of the internet! I've been very addicted to Pinterest lately. October-December is probably my favorite time to use it. I find the themed recipes and decoration so appealing. I came across this absolutely wonderful bundt cake a few weeks ago. It's been calling my name ever since. This cake is simple to make but it's very festive and pretty! I always think my downfall with baking is icing cakes. This one is foolproof!
Hello people of the internet! It feels like forever since we last spoke! I'm so proud of myself for doing 22 days of Blogmas! Unfortunately, the holidays did end up getting the better of me. I almost felt guilty for not posting daily. At the end of the day though, I much rather focus on having a nice time with my family than getting the best pictures for a blog post.Of course, I still took some pictures! I mean, It was bloody Christmas!
Hello people of the internet! Last night we finally finished decorating the tree! Also, It was my (awesome) Mom's birthday. It's been so hectic lately. Honestly, I'm not suprised I've been having a hard time keeping up with Blogmas. That being said, there's only a few more days left of the this month/year. So, I'll keep doing it! I just start feeling bad when I don't get the posts up straight away. Anyone else who is doing Blogmas feel that way?
